Take a chill pill mommy ...

 Sweet Abigail is now 11 months and doing all the things an 11 month old does ... actually, not everything, she still doesn't crawl ... but she's starting to take little steps!
We don't think she'll crawl, she doesn't seem very interested, she just shuffles around on her bum to get to where she wants to go ... oh well!!

I have to admit that I was getting very worried - having people tell me that it isn't normal didn't help.  Not reaching the crawling milestone had me researching left, right and centre just to find out that it's OKAY.     I even took her to the Dr to have her checked out ... ahaha ... her Dr. gave me quite the informative speech and advised me to take a chill pill!! LOL

Our Abigail is just fine, it won't affect her future development, she is healthy, active and growing at her own pace ... mommy is the one that needs to relax a bit!

We've enjoyed every stage Abby has gone through in these 11 months, but we have to admit that this current stage has been so fun.  She understands everything we say and she tries to respond using her own language.  It's precious to see her little personality shine through; she loves to blow kisses at everyone and anything she sees, she loves to meet new people, she bobs her head every time she hears music and she loves to say 'mama' and 'dada'.
She lifts her hand when you ask her where her hand is, she kicks real hard when you ask her where her feet are and she squints so beautifully when you ask her where her eyes are!  As soon as we say 'bravo' she starts to clap and squeals in delight.
This parenting journey is not easy but it is sure priceless!
